What type of personality do you have? I have a very outgoing personality and I enjoy getting involved with the crowd. I am comfortable in front of any audience and I’m very confident in my abilities. However, I can tone it down for events that still require a professional touch, yet need a less interactive DJ.
What do you do to ensure that your clients and their guests are happy? Before I entertain at an event, I will have a thorough understanding of my client’s expectations and desires. During the event, I will ask my clients if everything is going as planned. I am there to make sure their event is as special as they imagined it. I will also keep the guests happy by asking them what type of music they enjoy and allow them to make requests during the event.
What makes you a great DJ? Since 1985, I have been dedicated to the mobile DJ business and aspire to be one of the best DJ entertainers in the industry. By continually reading DJ literature and attending DJ conventions, I stay on top of my game. I can entertain all ages and have many diverse and unique skills that set me apart from most DJs.
Why do you enjoy working for Michigan Pro DJs? My boss pays me well and he’s a great guy!
What is your favorite type of music? As a professional entertainer, you have to know and appreciate all genres of music from every decade. I’d have to say, however, that the 70’s and 80’s are my favorite decades.
What is your greatest reward from entertaining? I love bringing joy to people with my music, personality and interactive talents. I love to hear from my clients and their guests that they had the time of their life and that I’m the best DJ they’ve ever been entertained by.
What are some interesting facts about you? I have the most amazing wife and five great kids. My grandparents sold their house to the famous hockey player, Gordy Howe. My great uncle, Chuck Fairbanks, was the head coach of the New England Patriots, Oklahoma Sooners and the New Jersey Generals. I’m not only a great DJ but a carpenter as well.
