Did you know that the average cost for disc jockey entertainment is typically less than 10% of your total event budget, but that the success of your affair is almost 100% contingent on the performance of your dj? This being true, why would people spend more on a cake or veggie platter than their dj? It is our hope that you’ll understand and appreciate the value of Michigan Pro DJs’s disc jockeys and not choose another company merely based on price.
Determining Your Price
Some companies have what we term “cookie-cutter” disc jockeys. They have a “one price fits all” pricing structure as if all their disc jockeys are the same. Well, the truth of the matter is that no two disc jockeys possess equal abilities. That is why Michigan Pro DJs has competitively priced their disc jockeys based on their individual talents and the demand for each. The greater your needs and expectations of your disc jockey, the greater the expense. Some clients require a rocket scientist whereas others a monkey could easily do, and since we pay our monkeys much less (they work for bananas), you will pay less.
After you have decided on the level of entertainment desired, we’ll need to look at the other factors involved in your unique event. Some of those are: the type of event, the date, the amount of hours, the location and the amount of equipment needed. In regard to hours needed, keep in mind that we never charge you for the time required to set-up and tear-down our equipment. All you hire us for is the amount of time you actually need.
Once we have this information, we can generate a price quote for you. The price we give is all you’ll pay; we don’t have any hidden fees or unexpected costs like some companies do.
Discounts & Special Rates
We offer special rates for most weekdays, certain months, repeat business, sr. citizen events, military personnel, schools, charity events and others. Also, Saturday parties that are done before 4pm are discounted. Call Michigan Pro DJs today to find out if your event qualifies!
Payment Options
We accept personal check, money order, certified check or cash. You may also make payments on your balance up until 2 weeks before the event date. After that time, the only form of payment we accept is a money order, certified check or cash no later than the day of the event.
