Jeremy Bolker - DJJeremy is a very funny guy. You could be in the worst mood and he can immediately turn your attitude around. His demeanor is always upbeat and positive. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him in a bad mood. Plain and simple, he’s just a great person to be around.

Jeremy has chosen a career in the broadcast industry. For many years, he has been a program director for several radio stations throughout the Grand Rapids area. As a program director, you have to have a very thorough music knowledge, while also knowing what to play to attract a listening audience. Your other main role is to coordinate the spots for news, sports, weather, etc., as well as sell advertising time. Now considering that he loves and knows music, can coordinate an event and make it go smoothly, and is very likable, you have the makings of an awesome DJ. He was a perfect candidate for our company.

Jeremy would be a great benefit to your next event. Not only is he a well-rounded fun guy, if you’re looking for a huge sports enthusiast as well, Jeremy is your man.

What year did you begin your disc jockey career? 2001

What type of personality do you have? I enjoy life and have the attitude of “easy-goingness”, but will get serious when I have to.

What do you do to ensure that your clients and their guests are happy? Stay in communication with my clients throughout the evening. Also, dialog between the venue staff and my client’s personal MC’s is also crucial to helping with the overall flow to make sure everything runs smoothly. It is YOUR day, and I will try and make it the best one you’ve ever had!

What makes you a great DJ? I love my job. I’m also sort of a sap for weddings, and love doing them because they all can be so different. I also have a perfectionist quality that demands smooth transitions, not only in mixing my music from song to song, but moving from event to event. NO DEAD AIR! – Maybe that’s the radio background in me!

Why do you enjoy working for Michigan Pro DJs? Brad makes my life easy. He has all the music and equipment ready to go and it’s very simple.

What is your favorite type of music? Tough one…depends on the mood. Used to love punk rock like Greenday and Blink 182, but Frank Sinatra is my all-time favorite. I also enjoy hip/hop and dance…country has grown on me A LOT, and you can’t beat some good classic rock. There are a lot of great oldies but goodies and polkas can have its own place too!

What is your greatest reward from entertaining? Having my clients and their guests say that I did a fantastic job and that they will recommend me to their friends.

What are some interesting facts about you? I’ve worked professionally in radio for over 9 years. I work at Clear Channel Radio right now doing marketing and coming up with cool promotions for different businesses. I enjoy jogging (even though it doesn’t necessarily show!), and doing a George Bush impression! (not necessarily at the same time)

My Talents:  Event Coordinator, Master of Ceremony

Customer Feedback:

Jeremy was great. He was involved with our guests by teaching them the “walk like an Egyptian” dance. It was great! We had a wonderful time. Thanks again. Michelle Thomas, Metron Home Health Care

Jeremy did a great job! Even though our class really didn’t really get into dancing, everybody enjoyed the music itself. Jeremy came up with this cool idea of voting for the best/worst teacher, which was great. He was very “laid back” & flexible, yet professional for this event, which was a perfect combo! Shelly Miles, Paw Paw Class of ‘92

I would not recommend any other disc jockey service. Jeremy and Michigan Pro DJs is the best that there is. Andrew & Jessica Moore

The whole night was perfect. Gerry & Jennifer Verweys

Jeremy was awesome! Our guests just loved him and how he was right there with them out on the dance floor. He also helped keep things moving the entire night which took a lot of stress off of us. Our guests couldn’t compliment you enough. Thanks for a great night!! The Sims

We just wanted to thank you for doing such a wonderful job at Adam & Katie’s reception. We had lots of compliments on the music and DJ and gave your name out to lots of people. Hopefully, it will lead to more weddings. I know we will definitely be calling you for the next 2 receptions (although we hope they won’t be for awhile!) Thanks again, the Akers

Jeremy, Corinne and I want to thank you for doing such a great job at our wedding. Everyone had such a great time and most of them wanted to know where we found such a great DJ. The day was great and you had a lot to do with it. Thanks, Eric & Corinne Paulson

Jeremy, thank you so much for making our reception extra special. You really made the party and got everyone to dance. The music and games were perfect. Thank you once again. Sarah & Mike Mentz

You did my sister’s wedding 7 years ago and we had a wonderful time. It was so much fun that my dad had saved your business card so when another event came up, we knew who to call. Thanks for making our wedding so much fun! Friends & family still comment on how much fun it was. Tim & Tiffany Eden

Amazing job! It’s been over a month & people are still talking about how great the DJ was! Honestly, the right DJ can make or break your party! The Mathewsons

Excellent job! Thanks so much – you made the night great! Andy & Janice Farrell

The best night of my family and my new family’s life. Thanks for all the fun. See you in the future. Patrick & Michael MacLang
